We have recently started modernising this charming country house near Oxford.

As a much-loved home and gathering place for several generations of family, we felt it was important to retain the relaxed country feel of the house but the interiors and especially the bathrooms, were beginning to feel rather dated and impractical. So out went the carpets, wallpaper and coloured bathroom suites in favour of more modern, practical and luxurious fittings and finishes.

In the bedrooms and reception rooms, we are editing a vast collection of furniture and paintings to combine old and new to timeless effect, making a welcoming, relaxing home which meets the needs of modern family life.

We are working on the next stage now which includes a much enlarged kitchen and dining space in the heart of the oldest part of the house, photos to follow soon!
