As part of a major renovation project, we were asked to design the ground floor of a period house for our clients who like the pared-back look of Scandinavian design but also appreciate bold colour.

We revealed and reconditioned the lovely natural wood flooring with its interesting chevron design, used cool greys and whites grounded with touches of black for the architectural features and added bold splashes of colour and pattern in rugs, carpet runners, cushions, artwork and chairs.

The house had very little storage so we added lots of bespoke joinery to create a streamlined look.
